There is no doubt that the search for a new manager for Manchester United is still underway despite having a performer Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as the interim manager with just a defeat in 1 2 games across all competitions.

The Red Devils had parted ways with the former Portuguese manager Jose Mourinho and made it clear that they were in for a new and experienced manager for the coming season.

A number of names including Tottenham’s Mauricio Pochettino has been linked with the club including former Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane and former Chelsea boss Antonio Conte.

With Mauricio Pochettino turning out to be the favourite amongst all, former United players, pundits and fans have all lined behind Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as the man that should be considered for the permanent job.

However latest reports claim the Red Devils chief are ready to offer the whopping sum of £34 million to snap up the Pochettino from the North London outfit not minding his contract with them but suggestions claim they might have, made a very late decision.

It is understood that convincing Pochettino will now be as difficult as expected because he was first neglected despite he was supposed to be the first choice.

Pochettino would have been the best for the job as United are seeking to remould the club and he is good at transforming of a team.
