European champions Real Madrid have reportedly made the first contact with Chelsea in their quest to sign Blues talisman Eden Hazard when the transfer window reopens in the summer.
This is according to the report from trusted media portal Goal.
It was revealed that the possibility of Hazard moving to Real Madrid in the summer has soared following the appointment of his football idol as the new manager at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu.
The Belgian international star has previously talked about how he idolised Zinedine Zidane while he was growing up.
The 28-year-old has also been vocal about his dream to move to Real Madrid despite the fact that he has a contract with Chelsea.
Eden Hazard has just over a year left on his contract at Stamford Bridge and the Blues might be forced to sell him this summer if they can’t sign him to a new deal.
The aforementioned publication disclosed that Chelsea will demand at least £100m for him.
Eden Hazard was in good form for Chelsea at the weekend as he scored a fine goal to rescue his team from the jaws of defeat.
Chelsea played out a 1-1 draw at home to Wolverhampton Wanderers as they missed out on the chance to go above Manchester United and into fifth place in the race for the top four in the Premier League.
