Greece defender Kostas Manolas is interested in joining Manchester United to play at Old Trafford.
The talented player has recently admitted he would quickly embrace the chance to join the premier league heavyweights, as they are one of the clubs he dreams of playing for in the future.
Kostas joined AS Roma in 2014 and has gone ahead to become one of the most important members at the club. He has played 171 games for the Italian club ever since, and has evolved into one of the best defenders in the continent.
Manolas, who scored an important goal that helped sent Barcelona out of the Champions League last season, has been linked with the likes of Arsenal and Chelsea in recent months. But it is understood that his current side are determined to keep hold of him.
Nevertheless, the 27-year-old has made it known that he dreams of playing for Manchester United in the future, alongside three other top European sides (Bayern Munich, Barcelona and Paris Saint Germain)
Although Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho wants a new defender this summer, the Portuguese has made Tottenham’s Toby Alderweireld a priority target. However, if the London refused to soften their stance on the player, United might be forced to look elsewhere.
