According to reports in France, Arsenal are close to completing a deal to land Yacine Adli from Ligue 1 Champions Paris Saint-Germain.
Arsenal keen on PSG star
French publication Paris United, as cited by the Daily Mirror, is claiming that Arsenal are poised to seal the signing of the starlet on a three-year deal as manager Unai Emery looks to strengthen his team.
The same report says that the youngster has turned down the offer of a new deal at Paris Saint Germain in favour of joining the Premier League club. The deal is also suggested to include the option of another two years.
Unai Emery has been looking to get the Gunners transfer activity underway since having been named as the side’s new boss in the summer window.
Versatile attacking midfielder
The attacking midfielder has featured for France at age group levels including Under-16, 17 and 18 netting 13 goals over 33 caps.
As per the same report, PSG were set to offer the teenager more money, but the attacker instead chose to join Arsenal this summer window.
The gunners will be looking to try and break back into the Premier League top four next term after they ended up in the sixth position in the English Premier League table trophyless in manager Arsene Wenger’s last season in charge.
