31-year-old Chelsea player signs a 1 year extension to his contract.

The coming of ex Napoli coach, Sarri Maurizio may have changed the minds of some Chelsea’s player and made many of them stay put at the club.

Had the Blues not change Antonio Conte as the club’s coach probably 31-year-old Pedro will be on his way out now as the player had limited playing chances under the ex Italian coach and it cost him a chance in the Spanish team that went to Russia.

However, new report have made it known that Pedro has signed a 1year extension to remain at Stamford Bridge which means the Spaniard might want to end his football career with the Blues.

Pedro has been shining for Chelsea at the preseason games especially against Perth and Inter Milan owing to the absence of Willian and Eden Hazard.

The 31-year-old in a statement said he is happy at Stamford Bridge and hopes to win more trophies with the English team under Sarri.

Chelsea, on the other hand, disclosed they were happy Pedro extended his contract by one year and hope to see more performance from him.

Pedro joined Chelsea from Barcelona and has 28 goals in 131 appearances for the Blues.
