Star player now happy at United after Mourinho’s exit

There are indications that the wish of French international Paul Pogba has been met as he is reported to be willing to remain at the Old Trafford and play for Manchester United.

Before now, the former Juventus player was pushing for a move out of the Old Trafford as a result of the rift with former manager Jose Mourinho having told the club’s executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward to sanction his move.

Paul Pogba fell out with the Portuguese manager at the start of the season and they were seen to have had an exchange of words as well as the stripping of the captain band from the French man.

Now that manager Jose Mourinho has been sacked, the 2018 World Cup winner will no longer be pushing for a move away from the club and will be ready to turn down interests from Juventus, Barcelona and Real Madrid.

Paul Pogba joined the Red Devils in 2016 with a fee of about £110 million which makes him the most expensive player in the club at the moment.

This season, Paul Pogba has scored 5 goals with the 21 games under his belt and there are insinuations that he could perform better as he now has his wish to part ways with Mourinho.
