Manchester City have confirmed the signing of Ukraine attacking midfielder Oleksandr Zinchenko from FC Ufa. Sources revealed last week that City had agreed a deal for Zinchenko, 19, and the transfer has now been completed. The Manchester Evening News reports that Zinchenko cost £1.7 million. Chris Smalling has been in hospital in Bali, Indonesia with food poisoning which led to him fainting, his club Manchester United said in a statement. Reports earlier on Monday said United were investigating after a picture of Smalling on a hospital bed surfaced on social media, and a club statement was released giving the official reason.
