£45m-rated defender now at the top of United’s wish list
It has been claimed that Italian Serie A outfit Fiorentina central defender Nikola Milenkovic is now top in the wanted list of English Premier League outfit Manchester United for this winter transfer window.
The report, therefore, adds that the Red Devils are also readily preparing to storm the Italian Serie A with a bid of £45 million so as to hold discussions with Fiorentina in order to seal a deal before the end of this winter transfer window.
It was also claimed that interim manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is bent on the star player and will take part of the discussions alongside the club’s executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward in coming days.
Suggestions are that the Red Devils will be quick to execute the deal and land Nikola Milenkovic knowing that the club are pleased with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and are willing to encourage him with more additions based on his request.
Nikola Milenkovic is only 21 years of age and has been able to gather big experience as well as having to play at the top level which is the most attractive aspect of the deal to the Red Devils.
However, the outcome of the talks that would be held in coming days will determine if Nikola Milenkovic will be a United player or not.
