Atletico Madrid goalkeeper Jan Oblak is considering a move to the Old Trafford this summer, according to reports.
The shot-stopper has been a key performer for Atleti in recent seasons as they mount a serious challenge on the La Liga title and even in the Champions League. His solid displays in between the sticks for the Spanish side in the last three seasons as setting him as one of the best goalkeepers in Europe.
There has been speculation of interest from Premier League clubs for Oblak, with the likes of Manchester United and City credited with an interest in the goalkeeper. But the later have just signed Ederson from Benfica, leaving United as the only suitor for Oblak in England.
Although, Atletico Madrid’s transfer ban could be an obstacle for the potential move for the keeper, with suggestions that the La Liga outfit will stop their players from leaving until next January when the ban will be over.

There are reports that Real Madrid are still looking at the prospects of signing David De Gea this summer, and United wants to bring Oblak as an ideal replacement.
