Jurgen Klopp is in the market to sign a new player to replace Philippe Coutinho, and AC Milan star player Suso is once again in the limelight as far as Liverpool’s transfers are concerned.
Liverpool are interested in resigning the talented player, and there are claims the Merseysiders are trying to complete a deal for him before the closure of the ongoing winter transfer window to replace Coutinho at the club.
And according to soccerisma.com, Jurgen Klopp’s side are close to agreeing to a fee with AC Milan for the player, and they could actually activate his release clause – which is in the region of €50million.
AC Milan splashed lots of cash during the past summer to sign new players, but are still sitting on the 11th spot of the Serie A table and are unlikely to qualify for the Champions League.
The report added that they are willing to sell Suso, but the player is not nurturing the thoughts of going back to Liverpool – as he intends travelling with his country to the World Cup in Russia this summer.
At Liverpool, the competition for starting places is very high, but at San Siro, he is a regular starter.
This season so far in 27 games for the Italian club in all competitions, he has scored 7 times and has provided 9 assists for his teammates.
