Moussa Sissoko transfer to Chelsea
As summer transfer window draws nearer, it is expected that the ‘transfer tension’ get tensed. The summer transfer window is a very important one that has the capacity to determine how much a club would fare when the season starts.
This afternoon, some big transfer news coming out of Spain and already circulating in the media is that premier League table leaders Chelsea have reached an agreement with second-placed Tottenham Hotspur to sign their star midfielder Moussa Sissoko.
Moussa Sissoko moved to Tottenham last summer from Newcastle United in a 30 million pounds deal. However, it was reported that the Frenchman has not been able to successfully impress Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino at the White Hart Lane. And as result, the boss is trying to get him out at the end of this season.
27-year-old Sissoko, who chose to come to White Hart Lane instead of Stamford Bridge last August, still has a contract with Tottenham that is meant to expire in 2021.
However, a popular TV station in Spain ‘Telecinco’, reported that the west London side have now successfully reached a pre-agreement to bring Moussa to Chelsea for a cut-down price between £12M-£18M.
However, Express Sport have added that both Inter Milan And AC Milan could hijack the move as they are also interested in getting his signature.
