Ahead of the upcoming premier league clash with Chelsea this weekend, Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho has suggested that Paul Pogba might not return in time from his injury to feature for his side at the game.
The former Chelsea manager has confessed that he has ‘no idea’ when the Frenchman will return from injury to play for him.
Paul has been out of action for six weeks already after picking a hamstring injury during Manchester United’s 3-0 Champions League win over Basel in September.
And Jose Mourinho, speaking recently about the midfielder’s situation, said he is working separately from the player and refused to put a date on a return despite speculations that the former Juventus star is hopeful of playing against Antonio Conte’s side this weekend.
When he was asked about Pogba’s possible return to action after winning Tottenham Hotspur last Saturday at Old Trafford, the Portuguese tactician stated he has no idea as he is not in control of the player’s recovering process.
“He (Pogba) is not training with me [but] is on individual work.” the manager told newsmen.
Manchester United won an in-form Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday and are ready to clash with defending champions Chelsea for their next premier league game.
The absence of a player like Pogba is a big boost for Antonio Conte’s side to win the game.
