According to ESPN FC, Arsenal are considering submitting a bid for Croatia and Inter Milan midfielder Marcelo Brozovic.
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has already captured Alexandre Lacazette from French Ligue 1 side Lyon for a club record fee and is determined to bring in a box-to-box midfielder as well as a flying winger in the form of Thomas Lemar from Monaco or Leicester City’s Riyad Mahrez.
The Inter Milan star has been on Arsene Wenger’s wishlist for some time and has attracted suitors from fellow Premier League clubs including Manchester United and reigning Premier League Champions Chelsea in recent transfer windows.
Inter Milan would be ready to sell the 24-year-old to the Gunner’s due to Financial Fair Play regulations, as they attempt to break back into the Premier League top four, having lost out last season.
The Croatia international played 35 matches for Inter Milan last season, netting seven goals and providing five assists.
The Gunner’s currently have a lot of talent in the midfield, however, with Spanish star Santi Cazorla still on the treatment table, Brozovic could fill the vacant position and add even more creativity in the midfield.
