Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has become a repentant believer of Marouane Fellaini in the team.

The United boss went as far as stating that his side would not have lost in the Champions League against Juventus if the player was on the pitch.

The Red Devils had lost 1-0 at the Old Trafford when his side clashed with the Italian champions, all thanks to a goal by Paulo Dybala in the 17th minute of the game.

In his reaction, Mourinho stated that the Belgium man would have averted the scoreline had he started the game, adding that he would have changed the direction of the game as he has done in the previous games.

The claim by the former Chelsea boss has come as a surprise to football pundits knowing the stand of the Portuguese player earlier before his current form.

Fellaini was never a favourite of the United boss until of lately when the player picked his form. This is evident in the speculations that he was meant to leave the club until his form changed the whole situation.

However, United are second in Group H with four points in three games with a chance to qualify to the next round.
