Manchester United striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has admitted that Premier League table leaders Chelsea are looking set to win the Premier League title this season.

Ibra has claimed that there is only one winner in the race for the Premier League title this season – which is Chelsea.

The Stamford Bridge club have established themselves as the firm favourites to win the Premier League crown this season following their brilliant form under new manager Antonio Conte.

The blues missed the opportunity to move 12 points clear at the top of the table on Sunday when they shared points with Burnley following a 1-1 draw at Turf Moor.

They are however still flying high at the top of the table and are still 10 points ahead of second-place Tottenham Hotspur.

Ibrahimovic Thinks Only Chelsea Can Get The Trophy

And Swede legend Zlatan Ibrahimovic admits that Chelsea are the clear favourites to lift the Premier League title come May.

Ibrahimovic, quoted by The Daily Express, said:

“I think from the teams in front, only one will become champions. The rest will not get a trophy, but we have one and we can get our second one.

“And we are still in the Europa League and FA Cup, so if we don’t become champions in the Premier League at least we can try to win two or three trophies.”

Manchester United won Watford 2-0 on Saturday at Old Trafford as Jose Mourinho’s men look to secure their place in next season’s Champions League in the Portuguese manager’s first campaign in charge.

In all truth, Zlatan keeps playing a huge role in Mourinho’s team. Apart from his useful wealth of experience helping the younger ones on the pitch, he is also having a nice impact off the pitch as many of the younger players looks up to him as a sort of model.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic sends a message to Manchester United fans about Anthony Martial

The huge man has revealed that his breakfast chats with teammate Anthony Martial at United have helped the striker regain his best form.

Martial had struggled to find consistent form in the top flight following Jose Mourinho’s appointment as United’s new manager back then in May.

The French striker was however back on form on Saturday as he was restored to the starting line-up for the 2-0 victory over Watford.

He scored one and also set up the other as the Old Trafford club kept their bid for Champions League qualification on track with the win over the Hornets.

The Swede star has talked about what Martial was like behind closed doors at Carrington following his recent dip in form for Manchester United.

He is quoted as saying by The Daily Express:

“When we eat breakfast, he sits beside me and we talk.

“It’s not like you go to one and try to cheer him up. It’s a good atmosphere, the guys are professional, positive vibes.

“It’s not like we go around to everybody and talk. It’s about the moment, when the situation is there. He’s training well. He’s not a guy who speaks a lot, he’s pretty quiet. He has been professional and training hard.

“It depends on every individual person, what kind of person they are. It depends on his approach and how open they are. He seems to do OK. He’s not going around with his head down. He’s positive and has a lot of energy.

“He did well and scored a nice goal. It’ll be good for his confidence and good for the team as well.”

United are now gearing up for their Europa League last-32 clash against Saint-Etienne on Thursday night as they look forward to take a step closer towards the last 16.
