Real Madrid playmaker Isco is said to be in favour of a move to Premier League champions Manchester City ahead of the upcoming transfer window scheduled to begin as from January 1.
This is according to the publication from popular Spanish media platform AS.
It was revealed that the Spanish international midfielder prefers a transfer to Manchester City due to the influence of Citizens manager Pep Guardiola.
Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal are also in the running to sign him.
Isco, 26, believes that he will thrive under the guidance of former Barcelona and Bayern Munich boss Guardiola.
He has been linked with a transfer out of Real Madrid after failing to nail down a starting spot this season.
The former Malaga man has failed to justify his inclusion in the Real Madrid squad whenever he’s called upon this term especially under new manager Santiago Solari.
He has managed just two goals and two assists for Real Madrid in all competitions in the new campaign.
With Isco keen on a Manchester City transfer, it remains to be seen whether Real Madrid will sanction his move.
Recent reports claim that the Champions League holders want to use Isco as a sweetener for the potential transfer of Chelsea forward Eden Hazard.
