A handful of them have been impressive at the tournament – and one of them is England international Jesse Lingard.

The Englishman has been superb at Russia for the 3 Lions, and the latest reports about him is that Manchester United are ready to offer him a new improved deal at Old Trafford.
Lingard was impressive for Manchester United last season. In 48 games for the club in all competitions, he scored 13 times and was able to provide 7 assists to his teammates.
The 25-year-old has started three of England’s four fixtures in Russia and has established himself as an important member of the team.
Lingard, who has 15 international caps for his country, scored a superb goal when the Three Lions thrashed Panama 6-1 in the group stages.
And according to the Sun, Manchester United are set to reward him with a new contract at Old Trafford in light of his impressive displays at Russia.

It was made known that Jesse, who currently earns £75,000 each week at the Theater of Dreams, will be earning £150,000 per week at the club after signing the new contract.
