According to reports, David De Gea is ready to sign a new contract with Manchester United that is meant to commit his future to the club.
The Spanish goalkeeper has been superb since he arrived Old Trafford from Atletico Madrid some years back.
This season, he has been his side’s standout performer and has caught the attention of various big clubs in Europe.
Manager Jose Mourinho has been reportedly worried about losing the Spaniard, but it was made known that Real Madrid have cooled interest in the talented goalie.
And according to new reports, Manchester United are ready to increase David’s wages by offering him a new £350,000-a-week contract.
It was made known that Ibra’s move to the USA has freed up more funds for the red devils.
The former Barcelona striker, who earns around £125,000 each week at the Theater of dreams, have agreed to a 95% pay cut to move to the USA.
It was also added that Manchester United believed De Gea will sign the new contract before traveling to Russia for the World Cup, and that negotiations are kicking off later this month.
David De Gea is expected to be in-between the sticks when his side clash with Manchester City this weekend at the Etihad Stadium.
