Manchester United Ready To Swoop For Barcelona Star

Manchester United are considering an approach for Barcelona midfielder Sergi Roberto, according to reports.

The Red Devils have been tipped to move for a fourth signing this summer after the arrivals of Nemanja Matic, Alvaro Morata and Victor Lindelof, with reports that Jose Mourinho is keen on adding a winger while he also harbor the thoughts of bringing in a versatile midfielder.

Earlier this summer, the English giants are understood to be keen on landing AS Monaco star Fabinho who was also said to open to the idea of moving to Old Trafford but the French giants have told that interested clubs the player is not for sale following the departures of Tiemoue Bakayoko, Bernardo Silva and Benjamin Mendy this summer.

Reports in Mundo Deportivo claim that United are considering a summer approach for Barca star Sergi Roberto who is also capable of playing in the right-back and midfield positions.

However, the Red Devils will face to beat competition from Chelsea who are said to be keen on landing a right wing-back position and were linked with a moves for Arsenal star Alex Oxlade Chamberlain and Juventus wing-back, Alex Sandro.

It is understood that Barcelona are not willing to allow the 25-year-old this summer despite signing Semedo Nelson from Benfica.
