Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho has told the club to sign Chelsea attacker Willian next summer, according to reports.
The Portugues boss has publicly spoken about his for Brazilian star who performed well under him at the Stamford Bridge last season while the Blues were having a torrid time in the Premier League.
Reports in ESPN claim that Jose Mourinho has ordered United board to do deal for Willian next summer window as growing confident that the player wants the switch.
The 28-year-old has found his chances under Antonio Conte limited in the 3-4-3 formation as the Italian boss prefer Pedro in the right wing positon.
Willian has made only 13 appearances in the Premier League this season and was not part of Chelsea’s 4-2 win over Crystal Palace last Tuesday despite his impressive feat last Saturday scoring a brace as Chelsea defeated Tottenham Hotspur to reach the final of the FA Cup.
The Brazilian had earlier confirmed that the United boss tried to lure to him to the Old Trafford during the last summer window.
‘There was interest, yes,’ he told Globo Esporte.
‘From Manchester United, because Mourinho is there too.’
Willian joined Chelsea from Russian side Anzhi Makhachkala during the summer of 2013, has shown he is real quality, helping the Blues to win the Premier League under Jose Mourinho’s first season on his return to Stamford Bridge.
