It would be a major surprise if this happens, but reports suggest Manchester United are ready to table a £90million offer to prize Belgium international Eden Hazard away from Stamford Bridge.
Hazard, 26, has been in brilliant form so far this campaign, netting eight goals and making seven assists in 23 matches in all competitions to become a key player for Chelsea.
The forward has been pivotal since he joins from French club Lille back in 2012, winning two English Premier League titles including the UEFA Europa League in a spectacular spell at Chelsea.
However, transfer rumour continues to link the attacking midfielder with a departure, and now The Sun state that Portuguese manager Jose Mourinho wants to reunite with hazard at Old Trafford, with a transfer deal worth about £90million being speculated as to what their bid might be.
This speculation comes as the wait for the Belgian to extend his contract with the Blues continues, according to report, as the player is believed to have turned down a £300,000-weekly bid from the side which will be a source of worry for them.
To worsen the matter, it’s now reported that Manchester United will join La Liga giants Real Madrid and French Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain in the chase of Eden Hazard’s signature, with the continental giants preparing to prize him away from Stamford Bridge.
