Napoli star player Kalidou Koulibaly has emerged as a target for Chelsea this summer.
And his agent has opened the door to a summer move to Stamford Bridge, describing the premier league champions as ‘a world class team’ that would be difficult to reject.
The Blues have occasionally been linked with Koulibaly as their Italian boss Antonio Conte looks to improve his options at the back.
It is understood that the former Juventus boss is a big fan of the center-defender and he even made attempts to get his signature last summer. However, his Serie A club didn’t allow him to leave, and Chelsea opted to re-sign David Luiz from PSG instead.
Chelsea are back in the market for a centre-back this summer ahead of a busy campaign next season, and Premium Sport says Napoli have agreed to allow the Senegal star leave if they receive a bid of €60 million (£52m) for him.
With this new development, Conte could reignite his interest in Koulibaly especially to fill the void by John Terry. And Koulibaly’s agent has welcomed the possibility of moving to Stamford Bridge.
Kalidou made 28 appearances for Napoli in the just concluded season and helped his club finished third on the Serie A table.
