Manchester United are ready to make shock move for Arsenal forward Alexis Sanchez, according to reports.
The 27-year-old has been a subject of interest from a couple of clubs in Europe, with reports that Manchester City are his preferred destination and have held talks with Pep Guardiola over a possible move.
Arsenal are reluctant to allow the Chilean leave this summer, and have rejected City’s bids for the player, with reports that Arsene Wenger will risk losing the player for free next summer.
Manchester United are understood to be considering a £70 million move for Sanchez as his move to Manchester City is being delayed but Wenger will definitely opt against the move.
In related news, Swansea are moving ahead of other rivals to sign Bayern Munich midfielder, Renato Sanches and will conclude a season-long deal for the player despite interest from Manchester United.
United boss, Jose Mourinho is keen on adding another player to his ranks before the end of the window but his move for Renato could be scuppered by the Swans.
The Portuguese has come out to heap praises on Sanches and revealed that he would have moved for him if he joined the Red Devils earlier last summer.
