Man United Permits Liverpool To Sign Star Player

Thomas Lemar

Monaco star player Thomas Lemar has been heavily linked with a move to Manchester United, and many fans are awaiting the club to get everything settled before the closure of the ongoing winter transfer window.

Unfortunately, according to new reports, the Old Trafford club have cooled their interest in the player since the management are not ready to pay the £90million the French club were demanding for him.

Last summer, the club spent £145million to sign just three players for the Portuguese tactician – Romelu Lukaku (from Everton), Nemanja Matic (from Chelsea) and Victor Lindelof (from Benfica).

The former Chelsea boss wasn’t even pleased that the management refused meeting Inter Milan’s £50m asking price for Croatian international Ivan Perisic before the closure of the window.

Mourinho is in need of a creative wide player this season at Old Trafford, and he intend taking advantage of the ongoing winter transfer window to bring in one.

The manager is keen on signing Thomas Lemar – who seem to be ‘fed-up’ with life at Monaco, and he is ready to snatch the player from other clubs interested in his signature – including Arsenal and Liverpool.

The Ligue 1 champions are ready to sell him for £90M, but the Daily Record made it known that the management at Old Trafford have refused to give Jose the go ahead, but have instead informed him to focus on other targets.
