Manchester United target Fabinho will remain at AS Monaco this summer, according to reports in Footmercato Insider.

The Brazilian has been tipped to leave the French side this summer with a host of clubs in Europe believed to be vying for his signature but have been pushed by Monaco’s reluctance to allow the player leave this summer.

Fabinho has been tipped to become a world-class star in the nearest future due to his promising displays and his versatility to play in the midfield and right-back positions.

Anderlecht star Leander Dendocker is considered to be an ideal replacement for Fabinho at Monaco but the Belgian’s agent believes the deal will not happen.

The agent told Foot Mercato that the move will not materialise because Monaco will not sign Dendoncker as Fabinho will remain with the Ligue 1 champions this summer.

The 22-year-old who was part of the Monaco side that beat Paris Saint Germain to the Ligue 1 title last season and even got to the latter stages of Champions League, is said to be open a summer exit.

Fabinho is greatly admired by a host of coaches in Europe due to his ability and experience to play across positions coupled with his free-kick skills.
