Tottenham Boss Revealed Stunning Info About Chelsea’s New Boy

Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino has revealed that Chelsea new man Alvaro Morata had the chance to join his own side, but rejected the move as he didn’t want to compete for a spot with in-form Englishman Harry Kane.

The former Real Madrid forward became the blues club-record signing after exiting Zindedine Zidane’s side in a deal worth £70million last month.

But Mauricio has revealed that Morata actually had an opportunity to move to Tottenham instead.

The Argentine boss revealed that the Spanish striker turned down the chance to move to Spurs because he was wary of Harry Kane being the first-choice man in front of attack at Tottenham.

Mauricio made this revelation after Chelsea boss Antonio Conte told pressman that Harry Kane is one of the best strikers in the world and he will love buying the Englishman if he had the chance to get his signature.

‘He [Harry], is one of the best strikers in the world. If I had to buy one striker I would go to him. He is [a] complete striker,’ Conte said.

The England striker scored 29 goals last term in 30 premier league appearances for Mauricio Pochettino’s side to claim the Premier League’s Golden Boot award and take his overall goals to 78 from 116 features.

Kane has also been linked with Manchester United before the Old Trafford club eventually complete a deal for Belgian forward Romelu Lukaku.
