According to reports, the management at Old Trafford has promised manager Jose Mourinho that they will bring in three superb players into his team next summer.
It was added that the board are taking these steps to make the Portuguese tactician ignore interests from PSG and keep his attention at Old Trafford.
There were speculations that PSG are ready to let go of Unai Emery and want Jose to come over to Paris to be their new manager, with Mourinho himself sparking the rumours by describing the Ligue I side as one filled with ‘youth’, ‘magic’, and ‘quality’.
It was made known that the former Chelsea boss wasn’t pleased to miss out on Inter Milan’s Ivan Perisic in the past summer transfer window, with the board not ready to pay the £50m his club demanded.
Paris Saint Germain on their part paid a whopping £198m to Barcelona for the signature of Neymar, breaking the transfer world record in the process, and setting a new one.
And Mourinho believes a club like that won’t hesitate to sign his top targets, irrespective of their price.
But new reports coming from Spain made it known that the Man United board have promised the manager they will sign at least three superstars next year.
Atletico Madrid star player Antoine Griezmann and Real Madrid’s Gareth Bale were named as two of the possible three targets.
