Despite his impressive performances at Manchester United this season, Anthony Martial remains unsettled at Old Trafford and has been linked with a handful of top English clubs ahead of the upcoming summer transfer window.
However, there are reports the red devils won’t allow him to leave but will instead do all it takes to keep him at the Theater of dreams.
Both Chelsea and Arsenal are interested in the France international as a result of his impressive performances, and the two clubs are expected to make a move for his signature when summer comes.
Manchester United splashed huge cash to sign Martial from Monaco three years ago, making him the most expensive teenager in football history.
The 22-year-old has been impressive at the Theater of dreams but he keeps struggling for regular first-team actions under manager Jose Mourinho since the Portuguese tactician picked the mantle of leadership at the club.
Martial has started just a few top flight games this season and he has seen even more challenges since Alexis Sanchez arrived Old Trafford from Arsenal in January.
Chelsea have joined the race for his signature, alongside Arsenal, but it was made known that despite the player’s issues, he won’t be allowed to leave the theatre of dreams.
According to the Daily Express, the red devils still view the 22-year-old as an important member of the club and a great talent who will evolve into something phenomenal in the nearest future.
