Manchester United are back in the pursuit of Tottenham Hotspur defender Danny Rose, according to reports.
Spurs have warned off clubs from signing their stars this summer and they will have to fight off transfer moves from Inter Milan and United if they are keen on keeping the English left back.
Rose was tipped to make an audacious move away from the White Hart Lane this summer but those plans were scuppered by a knee injury.
Reports in the Mirror claim that Manchester United and Inter Milan are ready to battle it out for the 27-year-old this summer after the defender recovers from his injury.
Known for his fiery approach, Rose was a key figure of Tottenham Hotspur side that finished at the second position in the Premier League last season and it is understood that manager Mauricio Pochettino who is keen on not allowing any of his stars leave this summer after offloading Kyle Walker to Manchester City for £50million.
However, there are speculations that the Red Devils and Inter Milan could force Spurs hands in doing a deal.
The Englishman is expected to miss the start of the new season as he recuperates from the injury he sustained since January but his place in Spurs is still guaranteed.
