Antonio Conte is leading Chelsea back into the Champions League next season and he is set to utilize the summer transfer window to bolster his squad.
The premier league champions have been linked with a handful of top players, including the duo of Romelu Lukaku and Alvaro Morata. The Belgian and the Spaniard were closely linked with the Stamford Bridge club as Diego Costa is expected to leave to either China or back to Atletico Madrid.
We’ve been wondering who Conte would choose between Lukaku and Morata. But right now, if the latest news is anything to go by, then the Italian boss has made a decision.
News coming out from Spain states that the former Italy head coach has decided to make Lukaku his priority target over the Spaniard Morata. A Spanish source Marca reports that the west London club has made the decision to bring in the Everton forward due to his experience in the English Premier League.
This season at Goodison Park, the Belgium international was able to score 25 goals in 36 appearances and he almost won the Golden Boot award before losing it to Tottenham’s Kane.
Lukaku is expected to leave Everton this summer to a club that can offer him Champions League football and higher wages.
