Man City set to sign Kareem Benzema for £35 million.

English Premier League toppers, Manchester City are about to secure a second signing since the opening of the transfer window.

This comes after Man City signed Leicester City player, Mahrez a few weeks ago.

Pep Guardiola side seems to be on the move again and they have moved their searchlight to Spain for a new player.

Report state that Manchester City is set to sign Real Madrid and Arsenal target, Kareem Benzema to Etihad Stadium.

The English club is ready to spend a total amount of £35 million to sign the France international.

However, Manchester City fans are worried about the transfer owing to the fact that Benzema is already on a decline, and is no longer the old Benzema that use to perform exceptionally.

So far, the 30-year-old had only scored 16 goals in his last 61 La Liga appearances, which is far below standard for a club like Real Madrid.

Well, Pep Guardiola may be seeing something else as Benzema style of place is similar to that of Manchester City, and he might hopefully gain his form should he move to Manchester City.

It is believed that Madrid will eagerly accept Manchester City bid as they know he is on a decline already.
