Lucas Torreira speaks on Lacazette, Ozil
New Arsenal recruit Lucas Torreira has spoken on his teammates Mesut Ozil and Alexandre Lacazette as he hints on how they have helped him settle at the club.
Torreira joined the Gunners in the summer transfer market after having a successful outing with his national team Uruguay at the Russia 2018 World Cup.
He has since settled in the red and white jersey and most importantly, he is a major part of the team having provided that missing substance to help give a steel cover to the defence.
Torreira confessed that there are certain peoples he watched in the television and looked up to but they are now called his teammates, an opportunity he takes delight in.
According to him, it remains a great pleasure to play alongside German international Mesut Ozil and French striker Alexandre Lacazette stressing that they bring quality to the team and also dictate the tempo of the game especially with the scoring form of the French striker.
Torreira stated that playing alongside the former Real Madrid midfielder gives him confidence as he is sure that each time he hands a pass to him, the ball would be made use of properly.
The Uruguay international noted that he had a rough beginning of his life which makes his current achievement enjoyable.
