Stoke City star player Xherdan Shaqiri has been heavily linked with a move away from the club in recent times after emerging as a target for Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool.

The former Bayern Munich star has been consistently in the news recently due to his links with the Anfield club.

However, the talented player is insisting he is focused on the World Cup and isn’t swayed by speculations surrounding his future.

The Swiss star is expected to leave Stoke this summer via a £12million release clause in his contract. He couldn’t help prevent the Potters from being relegated this season and the club have indicated they won’t hinder him from leaving.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is keen on adding more power to his team ahead of the 2018/19 season and is seeking to sign attackers to cover Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino and Mohamed Salah.

Shaqiri’s performance at Stoke City has caught his attention, and he is expected to bring the Swiss star to Anfield this summer.
