Liverpool suffer setback as an opening bid of €18million for is turned down
Premier League side Liverpool has seen an initial offer of €18million for Domagoj Vida turned down by Besiktas, as per reports.

According to Turkish media reports, the Reds have had a bid of €18m rejected by the Turkish club for centre-half Domagoj Vida.
Turkish publication Fanatik, as cited by 90min, is claiming that Liverpool’s first bid for the central defender has been rejected by the Turkish side.
The Merseysiders are thought to be interested in signing the Croatian as German tactician Jurgen Klopp looks to strengthen his defensive option ahead of next term.
Besiktas turned down first offer
The same article says that the Reds first offer for Vida was turned down swiftly by the Turkish side, with Besiktas thought to value him at a transfer fee closer to €35million.
The Reds are believed to be in the transfer market for a couple of new recruits this summer window as the Liverpool boss looks to build a solid squad at least good enough to challenge for the Premier League title next campaign.
Klopp’s side finished in fourth position in the English Premier League log last term and reached the UEFA Champions League final, where they were defeated by La Liga giants Real Madrid.
