Apart from the likes of Phillipe Coutinho and Emre Can, another Liverpool star who has been linked with a move away from Anfield this summer is French star Mamadou Sakho.
Even though few clubs have been showing interest in bringing him over on a temporary basis, it appears the Reds are firm on their stance that the France international can only leave on a permanent basis.
The huge defender has lost a place in Jurgen Klopp’s first-team for more than a year after a falling out with the German boss during Liverpool’s pre-season tour last summer.
Sakho was loaned to premier league side Crystal Palace back in January and he played a starring role for the club and helped them avoid relegation successfully.
According to Matteo Pedrosi, even though the Eagles have the desire to take the player on a second loan spell, Liverpool rejected the offer.
Matteo also made it known that Italian side Inter Milan are also interested in the former PSG defender and made an attempt bringing him over to San Siro on loan, but Jurgen Klopp’s side again rejected the offer.
It was also added that the Merseyside club will only let him leave for €30m (£27.7m) even though it is not yet certain that a club will pay that amount for a player like Sakho, with the transfer window closing next week Thursday.
