‘They must leave’ – Unai Emery to order three players departure from Emirates

Arsenal boss Unai Emery has said the trio of Carl Jenkinson, David Ospina and Joel Campbell could leave the club this month.

The Gunners brought in five players this summer, as part of efforts to revamp the squad following Unai Emery takeover.

The likes of Jack Wilshere, Santi Cazorla and Lucas Perez were all offloaded in the process.

The new boss has now confirmed reports that some players might need to leave the club, in order to clear space for future signings.

Emery has revealed that while he does not want any of the big players to leave the club, the exit door is open of Carl Jenkinson, David Ospina and Joel Campbell.

Jenkinson has not been able to prove himself at the Emirates, with his lacklustre performances which saw him shipped out on loan on several occasions.

David Ospina has been a subject of criticism due to his constant errors that has put the club in precarious situations in the past.

Campbell, on the other hand, has been in and out of the Arsenal squad due to his failure to prove himself at the club and during loan moves.

Emery is faced with the headache of finding a makeshift left-back following injuries to the trio of Sead Kolasinac, Nacho Monreal and Ainsley Maitland-Niles
