Merseyside giants Liverpool will have to deal with the threat of other Premier League clubs in their pursuit of one of the standout stars of the 2018/19 German Bundesliga season.
The Reds are said to be keen on a move for highly-rated Borussia Moenchengladbach forward Thorgan Hazard according to the publication from popular English news platform Daily Mirror.
It was revealed that the Belgian international star has a release clause of just £26m in his current contract with his German Bundesliga side.
He has 18 months left on the said contract which will expire at the end of next season.
Thorgan Hazard was recently part of the Belgium squad that produced their best result in the history of the World Cup this summer.
He was part of the Belgium team that finished in third place at the 2018 FIFA World Cup tournament in Russia in the summer.
Thorgan Hazard is the younger brother of Chelsea forward Eden Hazard and he was previously at Stamford Bridge before securing a permanent transfer to Borussia Moenchengladbach following a loan spell.
Buoyed by a very good World Cup tournament, Thorgan Hazard has scored 11 goals and provided six assists for his club in all competitions this season.
Apart from Liverpool, Manchester United and Everton are also interested in the 25-year-old.
