Premier League table toppers Liverpool have announced that Nigerian striker Taiwo Awoniyi has joined Belgian side Royal Excel Mouscron on loan for the rest of the season.
The loan deal was confirmed on Friday with the player returning to where he had a relatively good loan stint last season.
He scored 11 goals for Muscron last season while he was on loan from Liverpool.
The latest loan spell is his fifth for four clubs since he became a Liverpool player.
Taiwo Awoniyi had been on loan at Belgian top flight side AA Gent in the first half of the present season but his season-long loan contract was terminated at the halfway stage.
He made 22 appearances for Gent before returning to Liverpool.
In total, Taiwo Awoniyi has scored 23 goals in almost 100 appearances over his previous four loan spells.
It remains to be seen whether he will be a part of the Liverpool team under Jurgen Klopp for the long haul.
Nigerian-born England international striker Dominic Solanke had to leave Liverpool for Bournemouth last week after his inactivity with the Reds first team and he was ahead of Taiwo Awoniyi in the pecking order.
The Cherries secured his transfer permanently for £19m.
