Arsenal, United handed major blow in chase of PSG star

The English Premier League duo of Arsenal and Man United have been handed a heavy blow in their chase of French Ligue 1 outfit Paris Saint-German defender Thomas Meunier as the summer transfer window is almost opened.

Thomas Meunier has been impressive for the Ligue 1 outfit but he has just a year left to the end of the season which signals his end as there are fears of losing him for free.

It is claimed that the North London outfit Arsenal are keen on his signature while Man United are also on the standby seeking to snatch him up but the interest from the West London outfit has not been taken seriously.

However, all of the suitors have been dealt a major blow with Thomas Munier insisting that he would not be leaving PSG anytime soon.

He noted that there have been lots of speculations regarding his future but they are all far from the truth because he would not be leaving the French Ligue 1 outfit anytime soon.

This, therefore, leaves the North London outfit and the Red Devils with no other reason other than to look out for more options as they both seek to land a new and quality defender.
