Arsenal won’t be playing in next season’s Champions League and the club may end up losing some of their key players when summer comes.
One of their superb stars expected to leave the club when summer comes is Chilean international Alexis Sanchez. Apart from Sanchez, another Gunner star that has been linked with a move away from the London club is Oxlade-Chamberlain.
The Sun reported that the youngster is ready to leave Arsene Wenger’s side and Liverpool are leading the race to get his signature in the fast-approaching transfer window.
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is said to admire the 23-year-old so much and he is interested in bringing the playmaker to Anfield.
Earlier this month, the Telegraph insists that the England international himself want to move to Liverpool and work under the management of Jurgen Klopp.
Even though Alex is reportedly rated around 20 million pounds, Telegraph claimed that his club wants £35M for him despite that he has just one year left on his current contract at the North London club.
This season in 44 appearances for Arsenal, Oxlade-Chamberlain scored 6 goals and provided 11 assists.
It appears he is not getting as much playing time as he desire at the Emirates (out of his 44 appearances, he only started 26 times). Perhaps, a move to Liverpool might be what he really needs.
