Fact! Liverpool Can Win Both Premier League And Champions League
Liverpool legend Patrick Berger has backed the Reds to make a major statement by winning both the Premier League title and the Champions League title.
According to him, Liverpool have shown the quality needed to win the two major trophies.
The former Liverpool winger spoke about his former club in an interview with popular media channel Sky Sports as he revealed that the Reds are well placed in the two competitions previously mentioned.
Liverpool are the new Premier League leaders after their last league game.
The Reds secured top spot at the expense of holders Manchester City following their 2-1 away win over struggling London side Fulham.
Mane gave Liverpool a first-half lead before former Reds winger Ryan Babel capitalised on a mix-up between Alisson Becker and Virgil Van Dijk to score the equaliser for the hosts.
