Liverpool are overwhelming favourites to sign former Chelsea forward Thorgan Hazard ahead of the upcoming transfer window scheduled to begin as from January 1.
The report from Liga Financial claims that the Reds are keen on the Belgian international player.
Thorgan Hazard is the younger brother of Chelsea talisman Eden Hazard and he plays his club football for German Bundesliga side Borussia Moenchengladbach at the moment.
The 25-year-old was formerly on the payroll of the Blues before he joined Borussia Moenchengladbach in the summer of 2015.
He had earlier spent the entirety of the 2014/15 season on loan at the German club.
The Belgian player had earlier signed for Chelsea from French side Lens as a teenager in 2012 shortly after his brother Eden joined Chelsea from French Ligue 1 giants Lille.
They have a third brother who’s also a footballer (Kylian Hazard).
Thorgan Hazard has been in sensational form for his team this term after scoring 11 goals and providing six assists in all competitions.
In total, Thorgan Hazard has scored 27 goals in 96 league appearances in addition to three goals in 19 games for his country (Belgium).
The Belgian international star has a release clause of €30m (£26m) in his current Borussia Moenchengladbach contract.
