According to reports, Arsenal and Liverpool have approached Spanish giant Real Madrid about signing Marco Asensio.
Spain international Marco Asensio enjoyed a brilliant breakthrough season at Real Madrid last season.
Marco Asensio helped Real Madrid to a La Liga title and UEFA Champions League twice with 10 goals and 4 assists in his 38 matches.
And despite being used sparingly last campaign by Real Madrid head coach Zinedine Zidane, Spanish outlet Diario Gol revealed Premier League duo Arsenal and Liverpool are interested in signing the 21-year-old.
Serie A duo Juventus and Inter Milan are also believed to be keeping tabs on the availability of Asensio this summer.
English Premier League duo of Arsenal and Liverpool have spent big this summer transfer window, having smashed their respective transfer records already.
North London club Arsenal paid £52million to acquire striker Alexandre Lacazette from Lyon, while Liverpool signed £39m Mohamed Salah from AS Roma.
But Diario Gol add that the Real Madrid man is keen to prove himself at Santiago Bernabeu and wants to renew his contract to extend his stay at the Bernabeu.
Asensio joined Real Madrid from Real Mallorca in 2015 for about £3million – and the Spaniard recently declared how tennis legend Rafa Nadal convinced the European champions to buy him.
