Arsenal and Premier League rivals Liverpool could arguably do with strengthening in the middle of the park, and reported transfer target Steven N’Zonzi may be on his way to the Premier League.

While Merseyside club Liverpool face the threat of losing German Emre Can, who will see his present contract expire at the end of the campaign, it’s a continuing criticism of Arsenal that they lack good and solid midfielders to compete for major titles.

The fact that the Nzonzi, 28, is back on England soil with question marks over his Sevilla future would suggest to football fans that he may desire a return to England.
