Latest twist in United’s 22-year-old player after Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s decision

Scott McTominay

Emerging reports claim that Manchester United interim manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has made the decision to permit Scott McTominay to leave the club in this winter transfer window.

Scott McTominary is tipped to be the club’s best midfielder in the future but he seems to be limited by the lack of playing time which could affect his progress and the potentials he has shown.

There is, therefore, a need to hand him the opportunity to secure more playing time elsewhere so as to be able to secure the experience and replace Nemanja Matic in the future as he cannot bench him for now.

However, with the potential already shown by the United’s youth academy graduate, he is set to leave the club on a temporal basis so that he can gain the needed experience that will help him fight for a starting role when he eventually returns.

So far this season, Scott McTominary has seen just 8 games across all competitions which are not enough for a player who wants has been tipped to become one of the best in his position in coming years.

Scott McTominary has a contract with the Red Devils until 2021 and has got the release clause of £10 million in his contract.
