Arsenal told it’s enough for Mustafi

Shkodran Mustafi

There is no doubt that a number of Arsenal fans will be unhappy with defender Shkodran Mustafi after the defeat against Merseyside outfit Everton on Sunday afternoon.

An early goal in the first half was all Everton needed to have ensured the Gunners team do not fly to the third position as their hope of securing a top-foot finish has suffered a setback.

One player who was not interesting to watch was Shkodran Mustafi as he gave a shaky performance and also committed blunders.

Former Arsenal defender Sol Campbell has stated that Shkodran Mustafi has got no business at Arsenal anymore because he has not been contributing to the team despite being a regular player for the past few years.

He stressed that there is a need to have a new player for the role if his former side must forge ahead as he noted that Rob Holding would have been a better choice but he has been unavailable due to injury.

Sol Campbell noted that Shkodran Mustafi is slow and lacks all it takes to fight in the Premier League which is the reason why Arsenal will always struggle.

However, the Arsenal team are already in a search for new defenders as manager Unai Emery hopes to challenge next season.
