Ex-Chelsea Star Named On Top 20 Richest List
Former Chelsea player Kevin De Bruyne (KDB) has made the top 20 list of richest players.
Kevin De Bruyne plays his club football for Premier League champions Manchester City at the moment.
The Belgian international was named the 17th richest player on the list compiled by Goal with a total income of £20.2m.
The total income includes salary, bonuses and advertising revenue.
Kevin De Bruyne was a Chelsea player for two years, between 2012 and 2014, before joining German club VFL Wolfsburg while Jose Mourinho was in charge of the Blues team.
The 27-year-old became a real force in his only season at VFL Wolfsburg before signing for Premier League champions Manchester City in 2015 in a club-record deal worth £55m.
At Wolfsburg, he was named the Player of the Year in the German Bundesliga in 2015.
He was able to reprise his Wolfsburg form at Manchester City upon his move to the Etihad Stadium in 2015.
KDB won two trophies with Manchester City last season under the guidance of Pep Guardiola.
The Belgian midfielder played a big role for Manchester City in their record-breaking season in the Premier League in the last campaign.
Manchester City also won the Carabao Cup last season via a 3-0 win over Arsenal in their final clash at the Wembley Stadium.
