Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has played down rumours linking him with a move back to Germany.

Klopp previously managed German Bundesliga clubs like Mainz 05 and Borussia Dortmund.

The Liverpool manager has been linked with Bayern Munich following his performance as the Reds boss.

The Bayern Munich links were intensified earlier this month after German football legend Frank Beckenbeur called out Jurgen Klopp as a potential manager for the Bavarian giants.

According to the Bayern Munich legend, Jurgen Klopp is the perfect manager for his former club.

In a chat with German newspaper SportBild, Jurgen Klopp dismissed those Bayern Munich rumours as he pointed out that he has a long-term contract with Liverpool.

Klopp has a long-term contract and recent reports claimed that the Reds are willing to offer him a pay rise after the Champions League success recorded last weekend.

Liverpool won their sixth title in Europe’s premier club competition after they defeated rivals Tottenham Hotspur in the Champions League final on Saturday.

Klopp masterminded a 2-0 victory over Spurs to give the Reds their first Champions League title in 14 years.

Liverpool have now won more titles than the other teams except Real Madrid (13) and Italian Serie A giants AC Milan who have won seven titles.
