Two Premier League giants Arsenal and Manchester United are set for huge trading this summer as they are both linked to their players.
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is being linked with a move for Manchester United out-of-favour striker Anthony Martial.
He is also believed to have set his eyes on United’s left-back Luke Shaw who is in bad terms with José Mourinho after the Portuguese criticism.
After buying Alexis Sanchez from the Gunners, Mourinho on his part is set to snatch Aaron Ramsey and Hector Bellerin from Emirates stadium when the summer transfer window begins.
Though nothing has been confirmed yet by Arsene Wenger, the latest rumour reports that the Frenchman is eyeing a shock move for United outcast Darmian Matteo, who has found it difficult to break into Mourinho’s starting lineup.
The full-back is one of Wenger’s prime target for the summer as the manager hopes to find a long-term solution to the team’s backline crisis which was nothing to write home about throughout this term.
With Hector Bellerin reportedly set to end his stay at Arsenal by the end of the season, Wenger is now in desperate search for the Spaniard’s replacement ahead of the 2018-19 season. Barcelona and Juventus are reportedly ready to make an eye-catching offer for the defender this summer.
According to Goal.com, the Italian left-back is the player whom Wenger believes is the best replacement for Bellerin.
The 28-year-old defender is still contracted with Manchester United till 2019 but he might leave the Red Devils after his unsuccessful three-year stay at Old Trafford.
