There are indications that Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has been told by the club’s management that he will not be handed any fund ahead of the winter transfer window which reopens in the coming weeks.
This is after the Portuguese boss dropped the hint that the Red Devils could be inactive in the transfer window, not minding their seventh place in the Premier League table.
Red Devils are in their worst form in the club’s history for a long time having won just six of their 13 league games this season, 14 points behind league leaders Man City.
It was expected that the former Chelsea boss will be handed enough funds to storm the transfer market in coming weeks for more additions that will strengthen the squad having complained to be lacking quality, especially in his defence.
Manchester United conceded 21 goals in those 13 league games so far which is the worst the club has ever had and that has got the club’s former players talking.
Most of the club legends have accused the current manager of taking United backwards as well as drifting away from the known tradition of the club.
United used to be one of the best team in England with wins and entertaining display but that seems to be no more with Mourinho defensive style.
